23 Mar 2012 Key partners join Track Training to celebrate the six nations Grand Slam victory for Wales

The atmosphere on Saturday 17th March at the Wales Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was electric as Wales brought home the 2012 Six Nations Grand Slam against a French team who were finalists in the 2012 World Cup in New Zealand. Even our English guests, including SSE, were amazed by the passionate enthusiasm of the Welsh rugby loving supporters and were even heard to be singing Hymns and Arias!

Before and after the game, Paul Thorburn (former Welsh captain) hosted hospitality events on behalf of Track Training Limited, where the legendary Welsh and British Lions Captain, Phil Bennett was the guest speaker.  His speech was tinged with sadness following the untimely death of his good friend and former team mate Mervyn Davies (‘Merv the Swerve’).  Man of the Match, Dan Lydiate said after the whistle blew on their Grand Slam victory on Saturday “this one is for you Merv”.
